Festival Gourmet International 

November 10-20, 2022

Festival Gourmet International is the greatest gourmet tradition in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit and this year it celebrates its 27th edition.

Dia de Muertos (Day of the Dead) 

November 2, 2022

One of the most important festivities in Mexico is DĂ­a de Muertos or Day of the Dead, which is celebrated on November 2. In Puerto Vallarta, the Day of the Dead is a week-long festival that includes displays of beautiful shrines along the Malecon (boardwalk) that can also be found in town squares, and at art exhibitions during the celebration.

The week-long festivities also include folkloric ballets, mariachis, and Catrinas (painted skeleton mask) contests, and specially…food. You can enjoy the best of Mexican food delights during this great celebration that allows locals and foreign tourists to experience the traditional and modern culture of our ancestors.

Posadas and Holidays in the Bay 

December 16 –31, 2022

The holidays in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit, are a joyful and traditional season where locals and visitors delight their palates with the best of the best of Mexican cuisine. If you want to try traditional Mexican recipes, then the holidays in December, are your best chance! Pozole, Tostadas, Tacos, Tamales, Enchiladas and every Mexican dish imaginable is available in the various Kermeses events, restaurants and local’s homes throughout Mexico.

Posadas are representative festivals that are celebrated 9 days before Christmas. They start on the 16th and the grand closing is on the 24th of December, right before Noche Buena and Christmas. Then of course you have the celebrations for New Year’s Eve and then Dia de Reyes (Three Kings Day) in January 6th.
